The Moroccan nation of football par excellence will be the host country of the African Cup of CHAN 2018 nationals from January 12 to February 4
The FRMF was a candidate following the withdrawal of the organization from this competition in Kenya. “The candidature of Morocco has been preferred to that of Equatorial Guinea, another country to have submitted a valid nomination file”.
CHAN 2018 will take place in the cities of Casablanca, Marrakech, Tangier and Agadir and the competition will bring together 16 national selections composed exclusively of players playing in the national championships of their respective countries.
These include: Angola, Cameroon, Congo-Brazzaville, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Uganda, Sudan, Egypt and Zambia.
